    M.A Part –I Semester –I

    1) History and its Theory:   Help research in terms of formulating hypotheses and develop broad frames of interaction with other social sciences and attain certain level of interdisciplinary approach. 

    2) Evaluation Ideas and Institution in Ancient India: Understanding of the social, economic and institutional bases of Ancient India. 

    3) Maratha Polity: Understand basic components of the Maratha administrative structure, to enable the student to understand the basic concepts of the Maratha polity. 

    4) Social Background of Dalit Movement in Maharashtra: Understanding of various concepts, further explains The foundation for social awareness and renaissance of the per Ambedkarian period. 

    M.A Part –I Semester –II

    5)History and its Practices: Understanding of history and its forces, help inter rotate existing paradigms and challenge the outdated, help in developing critique

    6) Evaluation Ideas and Institution in Medieval India: Medieval Indian society, economy, state formations, and the main religious currents of the time. 
    Understanding of the nature of society, and the problems of the challenge to that society, 

    7)Social economical History of Maratha: The components of social structure and their functions, to understand the relationship between religion, caste, customs, traditions, class in 17th and 18thcentury Maratha Society, to enable the student to understand aspects of economic life, 
    8) Nature of Dalit movement in Maharashtra: Understanding of the changing position of Dalit at conceptual and practical level of social transformation, from 19th century till today.  Understanding of Dalit consciousness and adds new dimensions in understanding ‘Dalit’. 

    M.A Part –II Semester –III

    9) Ancient and Medieval civilization in World:  Ancient and Medieval civilizations with a view to understand reinterpret and present them in historical perspective; to enable the student to understand intellectual trends in the modern world.

    10) Debits in Indian History:  Introduce the student to some of the issues that that have been debated by historians and to introduce some perspectives with reference to Indian History.

    11) Economic History of Modern India : Indian economy after coming of the British, to make them aware of the exploitative nature of the British rule, to help them understand the process of internalization by Indians of new economic ideas, principles and practices.

    12) British Administrative Polices in India : The paper intends to make an in-depth study of various aspects of British administrative policies in India.

    M.A Part –II Semester –IV

    13) History of Modern India :The intellectual activity that played an important 
    role in shaping events; the transition from medieval to modern 

    14) Intellectual History of the Modern West: Understanding the concepts that are used in history, both of west Europe and India

    15) World after World War II: World War II scenario and to enable them to understand contemporary world from the historical perspective.

    16) Maharashtra in the 20thCentury:The purpose of the course is to enable the student to study the history of modern Maharashtra with an analytical perspective and to highlight the ideas, institutions, forces and movements in 20thcentury Maharashtra.
